Services
What does a data protection officer actually do?
Ongoing advice
The data protection officer advises you and your employees at any time on data protection-related questions. This may be the case, for example, if you are planning to introduce new software in which personal data from customers or employees will be stored (e.g. a CRM customer management system or new payroll software).
GDPR compliance monitoring
According to Article 39 of the General Data Protection Regulation, the task of the data protection officer is also to monitor compliance with the General Data Protection Regulation and all other data protection regulations. We regularly coordinate this with you and carry out a data protection check (so-called audit).
Processing of data subject requests
If one of your customers or employees has questions about the handling of their personal data in your company, these inquiries must be answered immediately, but no later than one month after receipt of the inquiry. The answer must be precise, transparent and understandable and should be documented as a matter of urgency.
We are happy to assume this obligation to provide information and answer inquiries on your behalf.
Training of employees
The data protection officer trains and sensitizes the employees involved in the processing operations.
